Why use LEDs

Minimizing the waste of energy for our planet

LEDs have advanced tremendously in recent years. With brighter output and longer lasting life span, LED Lighting is now used for traffic signals, vehicle brake lighting and signage by cities all over.

Municipalities are saving money from reductions in high maintenance costs and their carbon footprints by using LED lighting for their traffic signals and signage. Similarly car manufactures have moved to using LEDs in their brake lighting. LED lighting provides many benefits, the greatest being energy efficiency. LEDs offer 90% efficiency, compared to traditional lighting, at only 5%. This is a significant advantage to consumers while also reducing our greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change and global warming.

Other advantages are: long life, reduced maintenance cost and life cycle costs, low heat dissipation, improved visibility, significant resistance to shock and vibration, vivid colors, high luminous intensity, compatibility with integrated circuits and compact size.

Benefits of LEDs

Eco-Friendly: reduce environmental impact, no toxic lead, no mercury or phosphor, no glass, no Ultraviolet or Infrared Rays. Keeps minimum waste to our environment, replace one LED light bulb and keep out one ton of carbon dioxide through the lifetime of the LED light bulb.

Energy efficient: no burn out failure, 80% light output at rated life, no flicker or stroboscopic effect, instant on, no reflector light loss and cold temperature compatible. LEDs are directional light distribution, it provides flexibility in lighting environment and more useful of energy efficient with no more wasted lights. It can be 30°, 60° & 90° angles of light distribution in light bulb and 170° light distribution in lamp tube.

Cost efficient: 50,000 hour life span, thus energy cost saving due to no maintenance and no life cycle costs.

Reliable: LED lamp tubes and bulbs also emit a much higher percentage of light in the desired direction, silent operation and resistant to heat, cold and shock.

Low Voltage: 20watt LED lamp compared to standard 40 Watt compact fluorescent or 60watt Traditional incandescent and halogen lamp.

No Color Fade: LEDs create color consistency and achieve the desired color temperatures. There are wide range of color temperature such as Warm White 3000K, Daylight or Commercial light 4500K and Cool white 6000K.
